Arrival: All Yurts are available from 3pm on the day of arrival.
Departure: Yurts are to be vacated by no later than 10.00 am on the day of departure. On departure all yurts are to be left clean and tidy with the keys returned to the house. Any lost or unreturned keys will be charged at £25.00 replacement cost. All rubbish is to be disposed of responsibly in the bins provided.
Cancellation by You: If you cancel your holiday more than 4 weeks before your due date of arrival only the deposit will be forfeited. If you cancel your holiday less than 4 weeks before your due date of arrival and we are able to re-let your accommodation for the dates you have booked we will refund the full amount of your payment less a 25% administration fee. In the event of not being able to re-let your accommodation you will be liable for the full amount.
Cancellation by Us: Drybeck Farm reserves the right to cancel a holiday in the event of extreme weather, terrorism or war. In any of these highly unlikely events your full Payment will be returned to you. Emergency Contingency: Drybeck Farm reserves the right to cancel a holiday at short notice if for unforeseeable circumstances we are unable to provide safe accommodation in a yurt due to extreme conditions, ill health, fire or administration or any other extenuating circumstance. Under such unlikely circumstances your full payment will be returned. Drybeck Farm cannot accept liability or responsibility for any loss, including consequential loss caused by cancellation.
Breakages and Damage: If on your arrival you find any items or fittings, utensils, crockery or cutlery is broken, damaged or missing, please report it to Steve or Paula. It will be replaced as soon as possible. Should any significant damage or breakage occur, out with acceptable wear and tear a charge for replacement will be made. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning where a yurt has been left in an unacceptable condition, through waste, litter, interference in the structure, movement of furniture and contents etc. Guests will be held responsible for any fire, damage or alteration to the structure caused by negligence.
Children: There is much for children to see and do around the farm. Our aim is for children to have a truly enriching experience. There are however certain potential risks to be aware of as Drybeck is a working farm. Upon your arrival we will point out the areas requiring attention, and any necessary, “do's and dont's”, particularly around livestock and the river. If you are concerned about children being around a wood burning stove, ask and a wrap around fire guard will be provided.
Drybeck Farm accepts no responsibility for injury incurred on site. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their children on site.
Pets: We welcome dogs at Drybeck Farm You are responsible for control of your dog around the farm and livestock. Please bring blankets / cushions for your dog to sleep on. They are not to go on the beds. There will be a charge of £2.50 per dog per night. If you have any other pets you wish to bring please discuss this with us in advance.
Consideration of Others: Please be aware of the needs of other users and occupants of Drybeck Farm, including livestock, with regards to noise and behaviour. Anybody causing undue noise or disturbance may be asked to leave.
Facilities: Drybeck Farm provides the wood and gas needed for your stay as well as the use of the toilet, shower and kitchen facilities provided. Whilst we undertake regular checks and maintenance please ensure that you keep these facilities clean and tidy.
Stolen Property: Drybeck Farm cannot be held responsible for any lost or stolen property. Keys are provided to lock your accomodation.
No Smoking Policy: All Drybeck Farm accommodation holds a strict NO SMOKING POLICY smoking in any of our yurts will result in a fine of up to £100 in order to clean to a satisfactory standard. Anyone who smokes outside of the yurts is responsible for disposing of their cigarette butts in a bin.
Wildlife:There is an abundance of wildlife on site for you to enjoy. One or two simple precautions are helpful: Put your food in the containers provided to ensure the mice don't eat it. Put rubbish in the bins provided as foxes are in the area. You may want to bring insect repellent in the summer months, particularly for midges in the evening.
Fires: Fires are restricted strictly to the wood burning stoves, braziers and other designated areas only.
Age Policy: We do not accept bookings from anyone under the age of 18
